Abreu Advogados and AEMinho discuss strategies for tax inspections
On 26 November, Abreu Advogados will be in Braga to address the topic of tax inspections, in partnership with the Associação Empresarial do Minho (AEMinho). The event will take place at the Hotel Vila Galé Collection from 9am and will feature the participation of the firm’s Tax practice contracted partners: Mariana Gouveia de Oliveira, Joana Maldonado Reis and Sara Soares.
During the session, the speakers will cover essential topics for a strategic approach to dealings with the Tax Authority, including: what is currently on the Authority’s radar; concerns and positioning when interacting with the Authority; control of the information provided during an inspection; prior hearing – when to request it and what to say; and fines: the state of play.
AEMinho is an organisation that represents the business community of the Minho region, covering the districts of Braga and Viana do Castelo. Its main objective is to promote the region’s economic development and defend the interests of local companies, acting as an interlocutor with public authorities and decision-makers.
