Duarte de Athayde in the Leaders League Thought Leaders Roundtable report
Duarte de Athayde, partner at Abreu Advogados and previous Managing Partner from 2014 until 2017, participated in the Leaders League Thought Leaders Roundtable report regarding the perspectives on the leading position of Portuguese law firms.
“Not only are Portuguese firms at the same level as the international firms but are also well positioned in Portuguese speaking markets which continue to offer great business opportunities” claims Duarte de Athayde.
Concerning the increase of alternative legal services providers, Duarte de Athayde adds that “The growing presence of other providers in the legal market could change its structure. This multi disciplinarity approach causes us to ask whether we should consider integrating non-legal services or work with external partners and split the risk”.
