Carmo Sousa Machado appointed chair of Laurel’s Supervisory Board

Carmo Sousa Machado, partner at Abreu Advogados, has been appointed chair of the Supervisory Board of Laurel – the Portuguese Association of Brands of Excellence.

The appointment marks a new step in the relationship between Abreu Advogados and Laurel, following the firm’s membership of the association in April 2025, joining a select group of Portuguese brands recognised for their excellence and prestige.

“I take on the chairmanship of Laurel’s Supervisory Board with great honour and a strong sense of responsibility.
