Liliana dos Santos Soares is a senior associate and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2022, working mainly on advising private clients and businesses, as well as handling tax litigation relating to a range of tax matters.

She specialises in personal and corporate tax matters, with a particular focus on income tax (IRS and IRC), property tax (IMI, IMT and Stamp Duty) and consumption tax (VAT).

She provides specialised tax advice and consultancy to companies and individuals, including on international transactions, as well as on succession planning and the handling of direct and indirect tax matters, both nationally and internationally.

She has been consolidating her practice in tax litigation matters by drafting procedural documents for administrative and judicial proceedings.

Before joining Abreu Advogados, Liliana worked in the tax department of a German multinational and was a tax consultant at a Big Four firm.
