Duarte Nunes Pinto

Duarte Nunes Pinto has been an associate lawyer at Abreu Advogados since 2025, working mainly in the practice area of Corporate and M&A.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in corporate reorganisation and restructuring processes, as well as mergers and acquisitions transactions.
He has experience in judicial and extrajudicial proceedings arising from the commercial activities of the companies he advises, particularly in contractual matters, as well as in corporate litigation.
He also has experience in intellectual property matters, with a particular focus on trademark and patent registration, as well as related judicial and extrajudicial disputes.
Since 2023, he has been a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto, where he teaches Constitutional Law and Introduction to Law, and also participates in several academic projects.

Advising a national company in the food and technology sector on the integration of the business of another company in the same sector, including various share acquisition and corporate restructuring operations;

Advising the management of a company in the food sector, particularly on corporate restructuring, trademark registration, restructuring of the franchise network and monitoring of various judicial and extrajudicial proceedings;

Advising private clients in family-related corporate disputes.
