Catarina Rodrigues Rocha is an associate lawyer and has been with Abreu Advogados since 2024, working primarily in the areas of information technology, privacy and intellectual property.
Catarina specialises in matters relating to digital platforms and e-commerce, the data economy, and projects concerning the implementation and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
She also advises on projects related to new technologies and start-ups, as well as compliance audits in the field of consumer law and e-commerce.
Of particular note is Catarina’s involvement in legal advice regarding the analysis and implementation of the national and European cybersecurity legal framework.
Catarina holds the CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe) certification, awarded in 2026 by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and the Data Protection Practitioner certification, issued by the Irish Computer Society in 2024.
