He focuses particularly on the prevention and/or resolution of disputes on Intellectual Property and Information Technology, specifically on copyrights and technology litigation, licensing of intellectual property and technology, data protection and other regulatory issues.

He has worked for national and multinational companies across the board, including companies in the automotive sector, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, financial institutions, manufacturers of different consumer goods, software and hardware, online and physical retail companies on aspects related to intellectual property, regulation, information technology and data protection and privacy.

He maintains a close relationship with many different law firms around the world allowing him to service clients expanding globally, protecting their intellectual property in other jurisdictions.

Representing national and foreign companies in the fashion, environment, pharmaceutical, chemical, advertising, financial, wine and catering/restaurant sectors:

In cases related to registering intellectual property rights before INPI (National Institute of Intellectual Property);
In appeals before the Intellectual Property Court Tribunal against decisions passed by the INPI to grant or refuse industrial property rights;
In cases relating to the violation of industrial property private rights criminal proceedings for counterfeiting industrial property rights;
In proceedings involving customs interventions arising from trademark counterfeiting of rights;
 In cases relating to copyrights violations.

Advising international suppliers regarding their integration in the Portuguese market negotiation distribution, distribution rights, agency and franchising agreements as well as negotiating their termination (including dispute resolutions with distributors).

Advising well known national and international companies in wide-ranging sectors on transactions.
