Pedro Barosa clarifies that courts do not come to a halt during judicial holidays
Judicial holidays “are essential to ensure the recovery of services, contributing to the integrity and efficiency of the justice system and to the mental health of its professionals,” notes Pedro Barosa, partner at Abreu Advogados, in Jornal de Negócios.
Despite the potential delays caused by the holiday period, justice does not come to a standstill. Pedro Barosa clarifies that “the processing of urgent cases continues to be guaranteed, enabling the continuation of judicial activity that is most pressing and cannot be postponed.”
