Abreu Advogados takes part in the 160th anniversary of Diário de Notícias
Abreu Advogados is participating today in the Grand Conference “The Portugal We Have and the Portugal We Want to Have,” the first in a series of initiatives that Diário de Notícias will host throughout 2025 to mark its 160th anniversary. The event is being held in the auditorium of the Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon.
The debate on “The Future of Artificial Intelligence,” starting at 3 p.m., features a contribution from of counsel and President of the Knowledge Institute, Luís Barreto Xavier. Meanwhile, Luís Marques Mendes, a Member of the Council of State and also an of counsel for the firm, will join the panel discussion “Portugal in 2025” at 4:50 p.m.
The event will be attended by notable figures including the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the Ministers of the Presidency and the Economy, António Leitão Amaro and Pedro Reis, Ambassador António Martins da Cruz, the Vice-Governor of the Bank of Portugal, Clara Raposo, the President of SEDES, Álvaro Beleza, the National Director of the Judiciary Police, Luís Neves, and Adélio Neiva da Cruz, Director of the SIS.
