Joana Maldonado Reis to speak at the “Understanding Superyacht & Business Jet Tax” conference
Joana Maldonado Reis will be a speaker at the “Understanding Superyacht & Business Jet Tax” conference, taking place on 15 October in Barcelona.
In the morning, the Abreu Advogados professional partner will take part in a panel discussion moderated by Ayuk Ntuiabane, Managing Partner at Yacht & Aviation VAT, dedicated to the topic “What is the role of non-VAT territories in asset transactions?”, alongside other industry experts.
She will then participate in “Session Four: Aviation (tax pitfalls in aviation finance and lease structures)” to present a case study on “Corporate tax pitfalls in aviation finance and lease structures.”
This international event, organised by Quaynote Communications, brings together experts in maritime and aviation taxation, tax lawyers, yacht and private aircraft operators, and consultants, with the aim of sharing knowledge on the tax regimes applicable in various jurisdictions.
