Alexandra Courela takes part in Horse Betting Summit Portugal to discuss legislation on horse racing betting

Alexandra Courela will be one of the speakers at Horse Betting Summit Portugal, which takes place from 10 to 12 July at the Fundação António Cupertino de Miranda in Porto. Organised by the Liga Portuguesa de Trote e Galope, the initiative brings together national and international experts to discuss the legal framework, regulation and development of horse racing betting in Portugal.

Alexandra Courela’s intervention is scheduled for 8.30 am on 10 July, in the panel “Portuguese legislation on horse racing betting: current perspective”. Alexandra Courela will also take part in the debate dedicated to comparing national legislation with other European realities.

The event aims to analyse the first steps and development potential of horse betting in Portugal, addressing topics such as territorial and non-territorial betting, international legislation, gambling regulation and supervision, the fight against illegal betting and future challenges for the international horse racing community.
