Inês Azevedo Duarte

Inês Azevedo Duarte is a Legal Executive and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2024.

She has particular involvement in reviewing legal documentation related to the acquisition of real estate by both individuals and companies, with a special focus on Land Registry and Notarial Law.

She has managed mortgage loan processes with financial institutions, assisting in the banking framework of financing operations and ensuring their compliance, while also conducting a detailed review of the legal documentation for properties used as collateral.

She provides support for real estate investment, including the granting of Residence Permits for investment activities (commonly referred to as “Golden Visas”) and conducting due diligence on properties, real estate development projects, and real estate investment funds.

She has experience in reviewing various types of contracts (including Lease Agreements, Loan for Use, Construction Contracts, Tourist Operation Agreements, and Assignment of Contractual Position). She also intervenes in the registration of the appointment of corporate bodies, amendment of statutory clauses, including changes of registered office, corporate purpose, capital increases, incorporation, transformation, merger, and dissolution of companies.

Currently, she collaborates in the drafting and authentication of private authenticated documents and related registration requests (both physical and online), contributing to the structure and successful completion of real estate transactions.
