Rodrigo Cóias is an associate lawyer and has been with Abreu Advogados since 2024, working primarily in the areas of Corporate and M&A.
He specialises in corporate law matters, with experience in domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs, and corporate reorganizations, as well as in domestic and international asset contributions and share swaps. In the context of these transactions, he oversees the entire process from preliminary negotiations, through the conduct of due diligence, to their conclusion.
He also has experience in matters related to the incorporation and establishment of commercial companies in Portugal, as well as in providing legal advice regarding the day-to-day operations of such companies.
He also provides advice on the negotiation and drafting of various types of commercial contracts, including supply contracts, distribution contracts, and service agreements.
