Luís Tavares Costa is a trainee lawyer and has been with Abreu Advogados since 2023. During his traineeship, he has been working in different areas of law, with a special focus on Real Estate.

He has particular expertise in reviewing and drafting real estate contracts, ensuring legal compliance and the correct formalisation of transactions.

He has experience in property registration and in preparing essential documents for real estate transactions, including purchase and sale and/or lease agreements.

At the same time, he provides specialised advice on immigration, assisting clients in obtaining nationality, visas, and residence permits, ensuring strict compliance with legal requirements.

He also provides legal support to investors in projects in Portugal, assisting them at all stages of the process.

Experience

Legal advice to foreign citizens in relation to their entry and residence in Portugal, with regular intervention in applications for Portuguese nationality, visas and residence permits, ensuring compliance with the applicable legal requirements;

Legal advice to individuals and foreign entities on moving their residence to Portugal, as well as on investment projects in the country, providing legal support at all stages of the process;

Carrying out due diligence in the context of investments made by foreign citizens in Portugal, also ensuring the preparation and formalisation of the respective public deeds of acquisition;

Legal advice to companies with an international presence on the relocation of employees to Portugal, ensuring compliance with legal obligations in matters of immigration and labour mobility;

Secondment to a multinational company, focusing on Real Estate, Commercial and Public Law;

Advice on the amendment of Shop and Warehouse Use Agreements to be signed with various Shopkeepers;

Legal advice to Shopping Centres.
