Henrique Trocado is a member of the Advisory Board of Abreu Advogados.

Of Counsel at Abreu Advogados since 2017, works primarily on general counselling to companies, specifically in the areas of corporate, contracts, commercial and labour, as well as in litigation.

He focuses particularly on matters related to incorporation, restructuring and development of corporate structures, advising the administrations directly on legal aspects relating to all general and specific matters of their commercial and trade activities.

In this context he has assisted in the connection, approval, implementation and sale of leading real estate, tourism, commercial and industrial developments.

He also works on wide-ranging civil litigation, commercial, administrative and labour proceedings involving diverse matters and issues.

Additionally, he is responsible for creating and supervising teams dedicated to credit collection for national and international credit institutions.

Experience

Advising an important tourism and real estate group on the creation, management and development of two important tourism-real estate resorts in the Lisbon and Algarve regions.

Advising a leading national hospitality company with an establishment in Portugal and several European, North and South American and African countries primarily on matters related to commerce and labour.

Advising a French company on the sale of assets in Cape Verde to an Italian company.

Advising a multinational oil products company on the implementation and development of their activities in Portugal, om the areas of lubricants and gas.

Advising a Spanish real estate company on the connection, construction and management of a development in Lisbon’s city centre comprising office buildings, a hotel, a shopping centre and public parking.

Advising a multinational company in the automotive sector on several ongoing matters as well as representing the company in legal proceedings of a commercial nature related with concession and distribution agreements, with the manufacturer’s third-party liability as well as matters related to labour.

Advising on the incorporation and business development of one of the first real estate investment fund firms created in Portugal (SGII).

Advising a multinational financial institution specializing in consumer credit, on its product structuring and on the recovery of non-performing credits.

Advising a leading road and tourism transportation company on different areas of their activities, including legal proceedings regarding road and workplace accidents and violations.
