Fernando Veiga Gomes speaker at the AIAF Congress in Bordeaux, France

Fernando Veiga Gomes, partner at Abreu Advogados, spoke yesterday at the “10th AIAF Congress”, organised by the International Association of Football Lawyers, in Bordeaux, France.

In a session on “Multi-Club Ownership“, Fernando Veiga Gomes had the opportunity to clarify the main legal aspects related to this concept, which has become central to the football industry in recent years.

The Association Internationale des Avocats du Football is a forum that aims to create a link between the various legal cultures, in the spirit of sharing information and experiences between lawyers specialising in this field. The Association brings together a think tank whose aim is to enhance and affirm the activity and image of football lawyers.

Alexandre Miguel Mestre, of Councel at Abreu Advogados, was also present at the event.
