Tiago Salgueiro Mendes is a senior associate lawyer and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2024, working mainly in the areas of Public and Environment Law.

He is particularly involved in matters relating to urban planning and land-use planning, advising public and private organisations on these matters.

He has extensive experience in advising public organisations, including public institutes, local authorities, regulatory bodies and professional associations.

Furthermore, he has solid experience in contentious administrative and administrative offences, advising public and private entities on matters that cut across the whole of public law.

Experience

Assisting in the drafting of territorial management instruments, advising on urban planning licensing procedures and litigation, as well as the current revision of Municipal Master Plans; Drafting legal opinions in the areas of water, waste, protected areas, air and noise, as well as pre-litigation and environmental litigation, as well as environmental impact assessments;

Advice and litigation on various issues related to public law across the board;

Support in environmental administrative offences;

Advising the Secretary of State for Cinema, Audiovisual and Media in the XXII Constitutional Government.
