Abreu Advogados reinforces its commitment to gender equality by renewing its membership of iGEN
Abreu Advogados renewed its commitment to gender equality by renewing its membership of iGEN – Organisations for Gender Equality Forum.
Matilde de Mello Cabral, COO, represented Abreu Advogados at the public ceremony that formalised the renewal of the agreement with the iGEN Forum and in which five new companies (Edit Value, El Corte Inglés, Jerónimo Martins, Merck Portugal and Sonae MC) joined the forum in promoting equality policies.
iGEN is promoted by the Commission for Equality in Labour and Employment (CITE) and by the companies that join it, committing themselves to developing actions that promote gender equality in their organisations. Since its creation in 2013, iGEN has had 74 organisations, both national and multinational, from the public, private and social economy sectors, representing around 2% of Portugal’s GDP. These organisations are committed to a collective culture of social responsibility and justice, incorporating the principles of equality and non-discrimination into their management strategies.
