Abreu Advogados submits two innovative projects to the FT Global Legal Hackathon Challenge
Abreu Advogados entered the FT Innovative Lawyers – Global Legal Hackathon Challenge. This is an initiative held by the Financial Times that seeks to unleash the talent and creativity of the world’s legal industry to collaboratively innovate solutions.
After Legal Hackathon launched the challenge “Notarial act validation and signature legalisation procedures“, Abreu Advogados set up a team from the two operating areas in the office for developing two innovative projects to support in any way NGOs and the private sector with a variety of activities during this global emergency period.
Abreu submitted two projects to this initiative sponsored by the British economic newspaper in partnership with RSG Consulting:
- A global, disruptive compliance program for 21st century law firms – a project that aims to help law firms worldwide promote a preventive culture to deal with crisis situations. Learn more about this project here;
- LAW – Law Around the World – a project that proposes to create a global platform with the aim of gathering the legislation in force in all countries of the world. Learn more about this project here;
For the development of these projects, the teams were composed of elements from the Human Resources Department, the Information Technology Department and the Communication & Marketing Department that helped meet the needs of digital solutions and design of the different teams.
The event unfolded from 27 April to 17 May.
