João Nobre Garcia

João Nobre Garcia is an associate and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2022, focusing his activity in Corporate and M&A.

João is advises national and multinational clients from various industries on Corporate and M&A issues.

He is particularly focused in matters related to Corporate and Commercial Law issues, namely corporate acquisitions, mergers, reorganization operations and the creation of joint ventures, in the preparation of due diligence reports and the draft of the relevant contracts. He also has experience in the draft and review of distribution, agency and all types of commercial contracts, as well as pricing policies.

João likewise assists clients on merger control in different industries, as well as regulatory issues. He has experience in monitoring proceedings before the Portuguese Competition Authority and the European Commission and, in what regulatory matters are concerned, he has a particular interest on Foreign Investment Screening and on regulatory issues in the transportation sector.
