Margarida Costa e Silva is an associate lawyer and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2021, working mainly in the area of Public Law.

She is particularly involved in matters relating to public procurement, energy, administrative litigation and general administrative law.

Between 2019 and 2021 she worked as a jurist for a leading insurance company, advising on public procurement matters.

She has also provided support to national and international companies and public bodies in the central and local government, in their activities in Portugal in the environment, energy, health and tourism sectors.

She also has experience in various areas of public law, such as the environment, energy, urban and land planning.

Legal advice to local authorities on organic restructuring, internalisation of intermunicipal services, public procurement, administrative litigation and general administrative law;

Legal monitoring of the activities of local authorities, particularly in the drafting of legal opinions and regulations;

Legal advice to companies in the renewable energy sector on the implementation of photovoltaic and wind projects, with a special focus on licensing and the constitution of rights necessary for project implementation;

Legal advice to national companies on environmental offences.
