Elsa Sá Carneiro is a Senior Associate and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2008, working mainly in civil law, civil litigation, and corporate commercial litigation.
She has particular experience in indemnity proceedings arising from non-contractual and contractual producer obligations and obligations in general. Elsa Sá Carneiro also has many years’ experience in consulting on litigation involving company resolutions, and relationships between shareholders, and corporate restructuring.
She has also been involved in various investment operations in Mozambique and has provided legal advice on commercial and corporate matters.
She advises companies and national and international business groups on the incorporation of companies, shareholder agreements, purchase and sale of shares, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and amendments to the Articles of Association, and provides general advice.
She has extensive experience in advising on civil, commercial and corporate matters in the hotel, footwear, civil construction, health and research sectors.

Advising and legally representing fuel and lubricant retail companies in civil litigation proceedings.

Advising a multinational footwear company on the winding down of their business, and the process of its dissolution and liquidation.
Advising various entities on corporate legal matters in respect of implementing a project to construct a shopping centre and a hotel.
Advising companies in the food, textile and footwear sectors on corporate restructuring.
Advising a research company in the health sector on civil, commercial and corporate matters.
