Abreu Advogados reinforces Banking and Finance Law
Rodrigo Formigal is the Firm’s most recent Professional Partner
Abreu Advogados can now count on a new Professional Partner, Rodrigo Formigal, hereby reinforcing the Firm’s banking and finance law area that operated in several transactions in Portugal and in Portuguese- speaking African countries.
Rodrigo Formigal enjoys over 13 years of experience delivering expert advise to banks and financial institutions; he was seconded to international banks in the areas of investment baking and consulting in corporate customer management.
His career path includes work done in financial operations in credit institutions and financial intermediaries operating in capital markets, and his participation in credit restructuring operations, real estate finance, credit portfolio transmission and setting up of structured finance transactions.
Before he joined Abreu Advogados, Rodrigo Formigal was banking and financial lawyer for the law firms Vieira de Almeida & Associados (2007 to 2011) and PLMJ (2011 to 2018). He graduated in Law by the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University, in Porto (2003) and holds an MBA by the same University – Business Management School, in Porto (2004).
