Abreu Advogados hosts presentation of the book ‘Music Contracts in the Streaming Age’

On September 18th, Abreu Advogados will host the presentation of the book ‘Music Contracts in the Streaming Age’ by Jozefien Vanherpe, where the specific and complex contours of the music industry in the digital age will be revealed.

The book focuses on the contractual dynamics between musicians, composers and/or performers and their main business partners in the digitalised music industry. The aim is to contribute to the creation of conditions that proportionally counteract the negotiating imbalance between musicians and their business partners.

The event is organised as part of the Abreu Professorship in Law and Innovation at Católica, held by Professor Giuseppe Mazziotti.
