Abreu Advogados and ANJAP sign cooperation protocol

Abreu Advogados and the National Association of Young Portuguese Lawyers signed last November a protocol aimed at strengthening synergies between the two entities to promote knowledge sharing.

Abreu Advogados frequently promotes national and international actions with a focus on knowledge sharing and openness to dialogue. These actions include not only lawyers and elements of the legal sector but are open to society as a whole. The themes of law and the business market have set the agenda for these meetings, but they are also increasingly new issues that have marked the calendar of events, such as the future of advocacy and technology challenges.

The protocol has an initial duration of one year and aims to strengthen the link between Abreu Advogados and young lawyers but also with the entire academic community, closely linked to this association.

Abreu Advogados signed the protocol, members Carmo Sousa Machado, Duarte de Athayde and the Consultant and Scientific and Editorial Coordinator of the Abreu Advogados Knowledge Institute, Ricardo Costa. ANJAP was represented by the members of the Direction at the time of signing: the then President of the Board, José Costa Pinto, the Member of the Board of Directors, Filipe Bismarck, and the Vice-President of the Regional Directorate of Porto, Filipe Pereira Duarte.
