Abreu Advogados advises on the opening of BiG’s branch in Spain
Abreu Advogados advised Banco de Investimento Global (BiG), a private Portuguese bank, on the opening of a branch in Spain focused on the services of savings and investments.
The opening of the BiG´s branch in Spain executes an ambitious expansion plan for the Iberian market, with its primary offer consisting in savings and investment solutions. BiG Spain strategy is mainly to develop digital channels and innovation in the offer of financial services.
This transaction, carried out under the “European passport”, involved a vast range of legal services, including regulatory, banking and investment products, digital platforms and cybersecurity, data protection, employment, among others.
