Abreu Advogados is the “Law Firm of the Year” in Criminal Employment Law
Abreu Advogados’ Employment Law practice area was distinguished by the Iberian Lawyer Labour Awards 2020. The firm was recognized as “Law Firm of the Year” in “Criminal Employment Law” by Iberian Lawyer. Carmo Sousa Machado, partner at Abreu Advogados and coordinator of the Employment Law practice area, was awarded with the “Thought Leadership” distinction.
Abreu Advogados was in the forefront at the Iberian Lawyer Labour Awards 2020, an initiative promoted by Iberian Lawyer, with the purpose of stimulating competitiveness among law firms and lawyers in this practice area. In this edition, Iberian Lawyer Labour Awards recognised the excellence of specialists and distinguished the best Portuguese law practice.
In a ceremony held virtually on April 21st, Abreu Advogados received the “Law Firm of the Year” award for the category “Criminal Employment Law“. This distinction is the international recognition of the legal innovation and excellence of Abreu Advogados’ performance, being one of the law firms with more nominations for these awards.
Regarding the individual nominations, the Partner and Co-Head of Abreu Advogados’ Employment Law practice area, Carmo Sousa Machado, received the “Thought Leadership” award, recognising not only the work developed by the lawyer, but also her high leadership skills and ability to develop successful teams.
