Simão de Sant’Ana is a Professional Partner and has been at Abreu Advogados since 2007, working primarily in the areas of employment law, corporate law and the personal data protection.
He has been involved in corporate restructuring operations involving employment issues, dealt with either by process of negotiation or through collective redundancy. He also advises clients on matters of a corporate nature.
He has extensive practical experience in matters relating to workers’ rights to privacy, and the protection of their personal data, advising national and international clients.
Advising national and international companies on the implementation of privacy policies, internal regulation, and personal data protection.
His counselling spans different business sectors, but focuses specifically on the pharmaceutical, transport and clothing and cosmetic sectors where he has been involved in some of the largest multinational group restructuring exercises to have occurred in Portugal.
Simão de Sant’Ana is co-author of the book “O RGPD e os Recursos Humanos Guia Prático para a conformidade”, published in 2021.
