Patrícia Perestrelo is a Professional Partner whose practice focuses on Employment Law in Portugal. Patrícia also co-heads Labour and Employment law team and works in the firm’s Private Clients & Family Businesses Sector.

Experienced in matters related to acquisitions, sale, transfer of undertaking and corporate restructuring operations involving all labour and employment law issues in Portugal, Patrícia has participated in several due diligence processes.

Patrícia has intervened and assisted multinational companies in relation to equity awards. She has extensive practical experience on matters relating to labour pre-litigation and litigation

Additionally, Patrícia has extensive experience in advising companies in the healthcare sector on labour and employment law and has been involved in some of the largest multinational group restructuring projects taking place in Portugal.

In the private clients and family businesses sector Patrícia has been quite active in succession and family matters (focusing mainly on the planning, pre-litigation and litigation).

Advising a multinational telecommunications company on organisational restructuring.

Advising multinational companies when winding up or closing their branches or subsidiaries in Portugal, and carrying out the appropriate procedures to terminate employment contracts.
